Bimota - Custom Italian Motorcycle Engineering at its Finest

In the past on this blog, I've covered some pretty odd cars, like the Avantime and Renault Sport Spider, for example. But since I have entered the world of motorcycles for about 2 and a bit years now, Bimota has been on my radar ever since. Its not like the brand is common and I see them all the time; but with the times that I have seen them in person, they've been terribly beautiful, in the weirdest, most nostalgic way.  History of Bimota Bimota, as a motorcycle company, was founded in 1973 in Remini by three Italian men: Valerio Bianchi, Giuseppe Morri and Massimo Tamburini. And funnily enough, Bimota's namesake comes from the first two letters of each of the men's last names; instead of what I originally thought was 'Bi' for 2 and 'Mota' for motorcycle. The company didn't exactly produce their own individually designed motorcycles, but instead started off with using existing Kawasaki, Suzuki and Honda's engines and building their own chassis...
